Tomorrow is Shanaishchari Amavasya upto
21:26 Hrs. Special day for Saturn. Since, there is also a
very auspicious planetary combination called ‘Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga’ (सर्वार्थसिद्धि योग) tomorrow, this day has become very powerful for performing
pious actions.
On this occasion, Āchary Kalki Krishna, Honorary mentor of Astro Vastu, Noida, promoters of Astrodevam.com, told on the basis
of his extensive researches that popular practice of pouring oil, popularly
called ‘Tailabhishek’ (तैलाभिषेक) on so-called
Saturn statues brings calamities in life.
Otherwise also, no astrological
scripture supports this practice. In all the scriptures, it has been prescribed
that to ward off ill effects of Saturn in your horoscope, one should donate objects
related to Saturn e.g. all type of oils including edible, Mineral, petroleum;
Iron goods; and other goods of black colour to aged and handicapped.
It is being strongly recommended by Āchary Kalki Krishna, to not to waste oil by pouring it on statues, but instead of that it
should be donated to needy poor old aged persons.
