Sathya Sai Baba or Satya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi passed away on 24 April at 7:40 IST, after nearly a month of hospitalization.
Who he was?
Sathya Sai Baba born as Sathyanarayana Raju was an Indian guru, spiritual figure and educator. In 2011, he was listed by the Watkins Review as one of the 100 most spiritually influential people in the world. He was described by his devotees as an avatar, God Sai Baba, spiritual teacher and miracle worker. The apparent materialising of vibhuti (holy ash) and other small objects such as rings, necklaces and watches by Baba has been a source of both fame and controversy – skeptics consider these simple conjuring tricks while devotees consider them as signs of divinity.
Sathya Sai Baba claimed to be the reincarnation of the spiritual guru, Sai Baba of Shirdi/ Shirdi Sai Baba/ Sai shirdi Baba, whose teachings were an eclectic blend of Hindu and Muslim beliefs.
Purpose of this article
This article is being written to elaborate, how we had predicted the death of Sai Baba of Puttaparthi, with 100% accuracy, even without consulting his Horoscope or his birth details, only through the Horoscope of coming year, in the light of principles of Mundane astrology. It is our great belief that one may be his follower or Critic, but he cannot deny that he affected the lives of millions; and his death is of such a magnitude that it should be reflected in the Yearly Horoscope prepared for Mundane Horoscope.
The tradition

We want to stress here that we use only the Year, which starts from the moment of conjunction of Sun and Moon in Pieces or New Moon in Pieces, popularly called Vikrami Year, Hindu Year or sometime mistakenly called Vedic Year. We have, invariably found that results arrived out of analysis of planetary positions for this moment are hundred percent accurate for the whole coming year, for the particular place, of which Longitudes and Latitudes have been taken.

The planetary position at this position calculated as per Vedic principles and after taking Longitudes and Latitudes of New Delhi, Capital of India, were as follows:
The findings in the Chart
After going through the above planetary position, we were startled to find that:
1. Ninth house, indicating religious and spiritual orders, sects is highly afflicted by the combine effect of Saturn, Mars, Rahu and Ketu,
2. Lord of Ninth House, indicating Religious leaders, in this case Mercury, is combust as well as retrograde; and again afflicted by Saturn and Mars,
3. The Jupiter, the significator for religious and spiritual matters and leaders, is again combust and afflicted by Saturn and Mars,
4. In the Divisional Chart, Navamsa or D-9, Ninth house, Leo as well as Gemini, Sign of Ninth House of Main Chart is afflicted by Saturn,
5. Again, in the Navamsa or D-9 Chart, Ninth Lord of this Chart i.e. Sun as well as Ninth Lord of main Chart i.e. Mercury, both are afflicted with Mars and Saturn,
6. Additionally, Ninth House of this Chart i.e. Navamsa or D-9 is afflicted by Rahu,
7. In the Divisional Chart, Dasamamsa or D-10, Ninth house is highly afflicted by Saturn and Mars,
8. Again, in the Dasamamsa or D-10 Chart, Ninth Lord of this Chart i.e. Sun is afflicted with Saturn,
9. On the other hand, Ninth Lord of main Chart i.e. Mercury, is afflicted with Mars and Saturn both.
The Prediction we made
We did not need more signals and a specific prediction was made that ‘either a religious crisis of great magnitude will happen or some great religious leader may pass away’.
Timing of event
Then, the question arose about the timing of this event. We worked out that since, common affliction of Ninth house with Mars and Saturn is necessary for an event of such a great magnitude, the said event may happen either from the start of New Year i.e. April 3, 2011 to May 3, 2011, or from July 25, 2011 to September 09, 2011, when the ninth House of new Year horoscope will get common aspect of Mars as well as Saturn.
Actual Event
We know that Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi, passed away on the morning of April 24, 2011at 07:40 AM (IST). This event put up the stamp of approval on the scientific validity of Astrology, the Super Science.
Where was the laxity
However, when I was doing postmortem of this prediction with our students of Research classes on the same day i.e. April 24, 2011, suddenly a fact came out in my mind that had we delved deep into the matter, we could have predicted the exact time and date of this unfortunate event. How? Let us see-
A. We have mentioned two probable periods in the above paragraphs, One, from April 3, 2011 to May 3, 2011, and Second, from July 25, 2011 to September 09, 2011,
B. Out of the above two periods, first period is more sensitive; as in this period, along with Ninth House, Ninth Lord is also afflicted by Saturn and Mars, while this is not the condition in case of Second period,
C. Out of the period April 3, 2011 to May 3, 2011, this event could not happen before 15:35 hours (IST) of April 23, 2011, as till this time Ninth Lord of New Year horoscope was retrograde; and it became direct only at this very moment,
D. Now, we have narrowed down our probable period to, from 15:35 hours (IST) of April 23, 2011 to 14:48 Hours (IST) of May 3, 2011,
E. Now, to further narrow down above time period, we make take help of Moon, fastest moving Graha. For Ninth House Moon is Marakesh (Lord of death) in the main Chart as well as Twelfth Lord (Lord of losses) in the Divisional Charts, D-9 & D-10.
F. Out of the whole period mentioned in ‘D’, Moon’s position or aspect on Ninth House i.e. zodiac sign Gemini was only for the period from 15:35 hours (IST) of April 23, 2011 to 12:05 Hours (IST) of April 24, 2011,
G. Lo and behold, we got the time frame of less than twenty four hours, in which this unfortunate event could happen, and not only us but the whole world knows that the event occurred only in this period.
H. At the time of this unfortunate event i.e. 07:40 AM (IST) of April 24, 2011, at the place of this event i.e. Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, India (14°9.91′N 77°48.70′E), Taurus Ascendant, Sign of Eighth House in the main New year chart as well as Sign of Twelfth house from the Ninth House, the house subject of our study was rising.
I. At the time of this event, Mercury, Ninth Lord in the main New year chart, was posited in Pieces(18 Degrees 53 minutes) and, was in clear opposition to the Saturn, highly malefic being eighth Lord from Ninth house in the main New year chart, posited in Virgo(18 Degrees 21 Minutes).
J. Again at the moment of the event, Moon, Marakesh for the Ninth house in the main New year chart, posited in Sagittarius (27 Degrees 39 minutes) was in clear Square to the Jupiter, the significator for religious leaders, which was posited in Pieces (26 Degrees 39 minutes).
Lessons For us
Yes, Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi passed away on 24 April, but this event has given some lessons to followers of Astrology like us-
Firstly, the stars never show any laxity in their duty to hint about any event and guide us to reach at exact nature and timing of any event;
Secondly, If we smell about anything while delineating any Horoscope, we should always go deeper and deeper and finish our analysis to the natural corollary, or ultimate conclusion.
Maha Shivaratri-Meet inner Shiva
Maha Shivaratri i.e. the Great Night of Lord Shiva. Shiva, a Sanskrit word meaning welfare, but Shiva is the God of destruction. Oh! what a contradiction. Welfare and destruction. Is there some confusion? Or, the whole concept is just a fallacy? No, just see them just as two sides of a coin. The great Sufi poet, Roomi, had once said that when sculptor breaks the stone for making a beautiful idol, stone does not know about the great transformation lies beneath the pain of getting broken up. Shiva is the Lord, who bridges the gap between destruction and transformation. Maha Shivaratri is the festival to celebrate the joy of transformation, getting rid off the pain of ignorance.
What are you going to do today? Fasting? Visiting some temple? Offering oblation to the statue of Shiva? Pouring a lot of Milk and water? Offering some intoxicating material to the Lord? You might do these things, but did you offer something to the Lord Shiva, lying within you? Did you Prayed to Him? Did you at least recognize Him? You are wandering to the temples. You are wasting a lot of money on so called Tirthas (Holy places). But you do not have time for your inner Shiva, who is waiting you from time immemorial. Dear friend, spare some moments toady for your inner Shiva. Let His wait fructify in something immortal.
How can you meet him? Here I am going to describe the simplest technique, evolved and tested by myself. In the midnight of Maha Shivaratri, just sit in Padmasana (Lotus Posture) or Sukhasana (Comfort Posture). Start to concentrate on top portion of your head, called the area of Sahastrara Chakra or Crown Wheel, if we speak the language of scriptures relating to Kundlini Vidya. After three minutes (One eighth portion of Ghati, ancient Hindu Time Unit), start focussing on your breath. Do not do anything, just observe the breaths, and let it go inside and outside, effortlessly. After next three minutes, start to feel that your breaths are hitting and rejuvenating the Sahastrara Chakra. After six minutes, if you are a teetotaler and non smoker, you will start to feel at least a trickle of energy from your Sahastrara Chakra. After a continuous practice, the lucky ones might get the occasional feeling of outburst of your infinite energy, in the same way, you might have seen in the pictures of Lord Shiva, Ganga coming out of his head.
Once, you reach this condition, you will attain Avastha (condition) of Param Shiva, you will witness your inner Shiva; and that will elevate yourself to the state of equilibrium, ultimate harmony and that will be real Maha Shivaratri for you.

Diwali/ Dipawali Pooja time i.e. proper time for Laxmi Pooja
As per scriptures, Pooja for Diwali is done only in Sthira Lagna (Fixed Ascendant), provided there is Amavasya. It is preferred or rather it is thumb rule that the time for Pooja should be between Sunset to Sunrise.
There are four Sthira Lagnas (Fixed Ascendants) in all i.e. Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. The Amavasya this year is fro 13:01 Hours (05.11.10) to 10:21 Hours (06.11.10).
First Sthira Lagna, we will encounter in Amavasya period is Aquarius which is from 13:34 Hours (05.11.10) to 15:03 Hours (05.11.10). This Lagna (Ascendant) is not preferable, first because it is in daytime, second Lagnesh (Ascendant Lord) is in the 8th House and Lastly; Lord of houses for income as well as wealth (the reasons for Laxmi Pooja), i.e. Jupiter is retrograde, in inimical sign as well as at Rashyanta, hence very weak.
Next Sthira Lagna (Fixed Ascendant) is Vrisha (Taurus), which is from 18:03 Hours (05.11.10) to 19:58 Hours (05.11.10). See the condition of this Lagna (Ascendant); Lagnesh (Ascendant Lord) is retrograde and in Sixth House. But the most desisting factor is Second Bhava (House of Dhana/ wealth) is afflicted by Rahu-Ketu axis, Mars as well as Saturn. What else one will require? Hence, this Lagna (Ascendant) is also rejected.
Now, we are left with Leo and Scorpio. Scorpio is next day in day in day time hence it is overruled. Now, we have Leo/ Simha. See the condition of this Lagna, which is from 00:37 Hours (06.11.10) to 02:54 Hours (06.11.10) i.e. in the intervening night of 05.11.10 and 06.11.10. Lagnesh (Ascendant Lord) is in the Third House, haqving no affliction. Lord of houses for income as well as wealth, Mercury is in Kendra i.e. Fourth House with Fourth Lord. There is affliction of Saturn on the Second House, but if we consider Chalit Kundali, from 00:37 Hours (06.11.10) to 00:57 Hours (06.11.10), it is shifted to 3rd House and Lagnesh to 4th house, which remocves the only affliction to the 2nd House.
Hence, in view of above the best time for Diwali Pooja, this year, is from 00:37 Hours to 00:57 Hours on 06.11.10 i.e. in the intervening night of 05.11.10 and 06.11.10. All the friends are requested to please comment. All the friends staying at the places, other than Delhi and nearby, are requested to comment on the blog, well in advance. All the requests will be entertained, if received well in advance.
Prediction about Commonwealth Games
On the day the Commonwealth Games started, after a lot of tedious calculations, it was predicted by me on the Face book as well as this blog that India is destined to get Third position, however, divine intervention may raise it to Second position.On the closing day, I was doing special Sadhna & Pooja at the Markandeyeshwar Mahadeva (Shiva, Lord of Markandeya, situated on the confluence of auspicious RiversGanga & Gomati, near Varanasi), just after completion of the Pooja, I got the call as well as SMS from Delhi that India miraculously came to 2nd position due to extra Gold medal, even if one considers total number of medals, it was still third.With all humbleness I cannot take credit either for prediction or special Pooja, but all credit goes to ancient Seers, who have given such a wonderful Science.
